Join us for our last picnic and tour for this year 2020!
Ever heard of the flamboyant couple Colonel John Dale Lace and his wife Josephine Dale Lace (Jose in short)?
From Norman House in Doornontein to Northwards in Parktown, John and Jose Dale Lace were the "It" couple in the early Joburg of the Randlords - The mining magnates of the early gold rush. Josephine was known to have bathed in milk, used a team of zebras to draw her carriage and used a bugler to announce her coming to Jozi town for shopping!
Come and join us for our first ever picnic and tour to this couple's stunning house designed and built by the one and only Sir Herbert Baker. We will cover some 'JUICY' stories of all the owners
Perched on the Parktown Ridge it has some stunning views which will blow your mind!
